This print shows a finger amputation surgery. I channeled Seurat with this one and painted the scene using dots. I felt it was necessary in order to capture the feeling as a tribute piece for a hand surgeon without focusing on the gore of the subject matter. I like how it turned out; both the commissioner and the surgeon loved it.
