This painting, World on my Shoulders, is a part of my Good Bones series. I came up with the idea of this painting when I was really feeling the pressures of parenthood—the responsibilities were quite literally putting a weight on my shoulders. Then my kid did something amazingly cute and I remembered the joy and happiness and goodness that came with the job. So with this painting, I wanted to convey that while responsibility and work and effort can be a strain, there’s beauty in it too, and it is more than worth the effort.
Canvas & INK: The print will come on thick archival grade, poly-cotton blend canvas. The canvas is pH neutral and acid free and will not yellow over time. The canvas comes stretched on 1.5" thick kiln dried pine stretcher bars. The image is gallery wrapped around sides of the canvas. All prints are made using archival pigment inks, which are guaranteed to last for 100 years. Prints are signed on the front.
SIZE: The prints are available in 16x16 or 24x24. Select your size from the “Dimensions” drop down box.
SHIPPING: All prints come bubbled wrapped and boxed. If you need faster shipping, choose my Express Shipping option. The print will reach you in 2-4 days after fulfillment. (And if you need it even faster, just contact me. I can usually accommodate!)

ABOUT VECTORIZING
For sizes larger than 16×20, we use a vectorization process to ensure your print stays crisp and clear when enlarged. It is barely noticeable, especially at a distance, but we do like to make you aware so that you know exactly what you’re getting! Take a look at the last image in the gallery to see the difference between the two.

MUSEUM QUALITY
We use 100% cotton fiber, acid-free, lignin-free (polymer), and optical brightener (OBA) free paper.
TRUE TEXTURE
The paper has a similar feel to watercolor and fine art paper which adds a stunning quality to any print.
WARM WHITES
No chemical brighteners are added which makes the paper last longer.
ADVANCED INK TECHNOLOGY
10-color archival pigment ink with an expanded color gamut.

SHIPPING
How are the prints shipped?
5x7, 8x10, and 11x14 prints will come attached to a cardboard backing within a stiff mailer. 16x20 prints will arrive in a tube. Flat boxes are available for 16x20 prints on request.

If you need faster shipping, please choose one of our Express Shipping options. Shipping time is in addition to production time, purchasing 2-day shipping does not guarantee your order will arrive in 48 hours.
