Combat Stress and Have Some Fun This Fall With Art Classes at Lyon Road Art!

Waunakee, WI – July 14, 2022  Internationally known artist now offering art classes downtown

Kaitlin Walsh, renowned medical artist and owner of Lyon Road Art is offering art classes for kids, teens and adults. Summer classes are closed, but registration for Fall classes is now open. Classes will be held at the Lyon Road Art studio at 101 E. Main St, across the street from the Lone Girl Brewery

“Art is so important for the development of fine motor skills in kids. It’s also a stress reliever and a great way to express feelings in a creative way for teens and adults.” says Kaitlin. She’s excited to bring her artistic expertise back to her home state!

Youth Drawing & Illustration
Wednesdays: 4-5pm

Watercolor First Timers
Wednesdays: 6:30-7:30pm

About Lyon Road Art

Lyon Road Art is an established and respected name in the anatomical art community. Kaitlin started Lyon Road Art in 2015 after the premature birth of her first son. The doctors’ care and expertise inspired Kaitlin to use her medical illustration degree to paint anatomy in a way that inspires respect for the human body’s beauty and strength.

The new Lyon Road Art studio on Main street will also house a space for Kaitlin to create large oil and watercolor paintings as well as a print shop for shipment of her art prints that she sells via her website and Etsy. Kaitlin’s work has been sold in every state, and around the world. 

A permanent display of her original work resides in the Children’s Hospital and Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, and her show entitled Exquisite Anatomy opened at the SSM Monroe Health Center in Monroe, WI this past June. Kaitlin’s art has also been on the cover and within several medical journals and magazines, including Physician’s Outlook and Prevention Magazine.

Lyon Road Art is a woman owned and operated art business focusing on anatomy inspired commissioned art, prints and products for the medical community as well as providing general art classes for Madison and the surrounding areas.
